A little bit of Belgium

Well we're still here in our current house and the clearing and sorting is carrying on at a good pace. We're keeping absolutely everything crossed that we will be moving to our new home next week. Such a stressful business this house buying thing.

We have had some sanity though in the last few weeks in the shape of a weekend trip to our beloved Belgium. Those of you who have read my blog(and previous one) for some years will know that we visit this lovely underated Country fairly regularly. This time though it wasn't just the three of us. We took both sets of our parents and Hubbies Sister and her family. A convoy of three cars! We went to celebrate Simon's Birthday which was actually last November! Unfortunately the plans we had back then were changed unexpectedly when our darling boy decided to show up two months early.

So with lots to do today I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking and leave you with some images of our weekend. I hope to squeeze in another post before moving day but if not then I will be back again in a few weeks with delightful(not!) images of the current state of our new house to start on the story of the transformation.

See you soon. F x

This looks like Bruges ~ I visited years ago and loved it.

Good luck with your move. We are moving again at the end of July, but still don't have a place to move to....long story, but I'll tell more on my blog once I have something more to add!

Hi Nonnie,
I have never been to Belgium and I would love to go one day. Your pictures look amazing! How are you and your little one? I bet you are having a great time being a mum, huh? Anyway, thank you for commenting over my blog sometimes. It is always great to hear from you.
Lots of love,
xx

Hi Fiona,

Thanks for dropping by and for your congratulations. I'm very excited about moving to Nova Scotia, though a little daunted at the prospect of the move, especially since we are moving ourselves!

Good luck with your move next week. I hope that you are soon settled in your new home.
